Tell us what you think of the website
Welcome to your brand new Council website. This is a beta version, not yet live to residents. We'd love to know what you think.
Find out where to get help if you or someone you care about needs urgent help with a mental health crisis.
The strategy was developed in partnership with multiple teams across the Council and external partners including, but not limited to, Kingston Samaritans, South West London & St George's Mental Health Trust, Kingston Hospital and Achieving for Children, as well as being informed by data and evidence. This strategy is for anyone living in Kingston. It covers all ages.
The purpose of Kingston's Suicide Prevention Strategy is to reduce the local suicide rate and support those affected or bereaved by suicide.
We will be taking action across eight priority areas in partnership with residents, the NHS, community and voluntary organisations and other partners. Many of its actions will also strengthen mental health across population groups. This will be monitored by Kingston's Multi-Agency Suicide Prevention steering group.
