Tell us what you think of the website
Welcome to your brand new Council website. This is a beta version, not yet live to residents. We'd love to know what you think.
Welcome to the brand new Council website for the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. Learn more about why we built it, when it will go live for residents, and how to give feedback.
This is a beta version of the website, meaning we're still making improvements. Only people with a link can see it.
We wanted you to see it first so you can try it for yourself, see what's different, and give us your feedback.
We've built the new website on the LocalGov Drupal platform, especially developed for use by local authorities.
This will:
Because LocalGov Drupal is already used by more than 50 local authorities, it comes with its own ready-made community of experts ready to share ideas and solutions for free.
We're hoping to put the new website live to residents in July.
Residents will still be able to see the old website for a while, until we're happy we can turn it off.
After that, anyone clicking on a link to the old website will be redirected automatically to the new one.
You'll notice that the website has a fresh new look and feel, and some additional features, such as 'top tasks' in the service sections and helpful descriptions on menu items.
You might also spot things that don't look right, such as test pages or content that's out of date.
The Web Team will be working hard over the next few weeks to fix these issues before we go live. We'll also be working closely with service teams going forward to improve content for users.
Your feedback is essential to help us give residents a positive online experience.
Please use the form on this page to tell us about any issues you've spotted, or things that you like.
