Tree planting
Find information about our annual winter tree planting programme which aims to boost biodiversity, while safeguarding the borough's natural surroundings.
Tree planting 2019 - 2020
Between December 2019 and March 2020, 871 trees were planted across the borough (856 by Kingston Council and 15 by community groups). 255 were planted in locations chosen by our residents.
In addition, 3000 whips were planted in Kingston’s parks and green spaces with support from local community groups.
