If you’re a landlord or letting agent, let us know if you have a change in tenancy.

We are unable to produce a Council Tax bill until the moving date is less than 3 weeks away. If you tell us that tenants are moving, in or out of the borough, more than 21 days in advance we will not be able to produce an updated Council Tax bill until closer to their moving date.

Tell us if you have a new tenant

You can let us know if someone has moved in or out of a property so we can charge the right people for Council Tax.  

What you need to do

You’ll need to tell us the:  

• names of tenants
• property address
• start and end dates of the tenancy agreement
