If you are a Ukrainian national with a Homes for Ukraine visa you may be entitled to a Council Tax discount.
If you are a Ukrainian national with a Homes for Ukraine visa you may be entitiled to a 50% Council Tax discount if you live alone or if all the other adults you live with have a HfU visa.

This discount is only for Ukrainian nationals who have received a visa under the Homes for Ukraine scheme. It does not apply to other schemes such as The Ukraine Family Scheme or The Ukraine Extension Scheme.
Sponsors of Ukrainian guests will not lose their current Council Tax discount or exemption if they invite Ukrainian guests to stay with them under the scheme. If you’re supporting Ukrainians as part of the Homes for Ukraine scheme, you may be eligible for a discount on your Council Tax.
If you already receive a single-person discount on your Council Tax and you share a home with one or more eligible Ukrainian national(s), you will continue to receive a 25% single-person discount.
If you are receiving a Council Tax exemption on your property and a Ukrainian national with HfU visa moves in, you will still be exempt from paying Council Tax. For example, if your property is exempt because all the residents are students and a Ukrainian national moves in the property will continue to be exempt.
If you are paying the full rate of Council Tax for an empty property and you let your property to Ukrainian nationals through the Homes for Ukraine scheme, the Council Tax charge will be reduced to 50%.
