Elections Act 2022
A number of things have changed this year. These changes have been brought in by the Elections Act 2022.
You are now required to show photo ID at the polling station in order to vote. Find out more about Voter ID requirements

Votes for life for British citizens - From 16 January 2024 any British citizen living abroad who has previously lived in or been registered to vote in the UK will have the right to vote at UK Parliamentary elections, regardless of when they left the UK.
