Tell us what you think of the website
Welcome to your brand new Council website. This is a beta version, not yet live to residents. We'd love to know what you think.
Sign an existing petition or find out the process of starting a petition, and how you can present your petition to a meeting of the Council, a Strategic Committee or a Neighbourhood Committee
If you want to petition the Council about something you want to change you can:
Read our guidelines for petitions before starting a paper or online petition.
We welcome petitions from those who live, work, or study in the borough - this is one of the ways in which people can raise issues and concerns.
Petitions can be presented to a meeting of the Council, a Strategic Committee or a Neighbourhood Committee. You can do this in person or you can ask a councillor to do this for you.
If you would like to talk about how to present your petition or would like your councillor or someone else to present it on your behalf, please contact Democratic Support a week before the meeting and we will talk you through the process.
Petitions over 20 can be presented to a meeting of a Strategic Committee or a Neighbourhood Committee and notice to submit a petition must be given to democratic.services@kingston.
Contact our Democratic Support team if you have any difficulty with your petition.
