Find out about the School Health Service, which aims to improve the health and wellbeing of children, young people and their families.
School health services in Kingston schools are provided through the 0–19 service from Your Healthcare CIC.
The School Health Service provides health promotion, advice and support to school age children, young people and their families with the aim of improving their health and wellbeing. The team provides services for children and young people attending Kingston state-funded schools or who are home educated and live in the Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames.
This includes a range of health improvement activities including assessment, child protection, screening, immunisation, special needs provision, drop-in sessions, sexual health (KU19) and PSHE (Personal, Social and Health Education). The team provides education and training for children, young people, carers and multi-disciplinary agencies. The service now also delivers the HENRY programme to support families to lead happy healthy lives. To find out more about HENRY visit Connected Kingston.
