Tell us what you think of the website
Welcome to your brand new Council website. This is a beta version, not yet live to residents. We'd love to know what you think.
View our open TMOs and find out how to submit a comment or objection to a TMO that is out for public consultation.
Traffic Management Orders (TMO’s) are legal documents drafted and made by the council, usually under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The Act regulates the use of highways for movement and parking within the borough by drivers of vehicles and/or pedestrians.
From 12 June 2025 you can view and submit objections and comments on our Streets portal about map based proposed TMO’s in Kingston by selecting either Speed & movement or Parking & loading.
You can view current non map based TMO proposals and map based proposals published pre 12 June 2025.
Alternatively you can submit objections and comments, in writing to the Traffic Order Section, Highways and Transport, Kingston and Sutton Shared Service, Guildhall 2, Kingston upon Thames KT1 1EU before the consultation end date (usually 21 days).
From commencement of the consultation we have up to two years to decide on whether to make and implement a TMO.
Certain notices are published 'for information only' and are not subject to the statutory consultation process, for example Pedestrian Crossings and Notices of Variation and therefore comments will not be able to be received.
Expired Statutory Consultations pre 12 June 2025 and all non map based TMO proposals can be viewed as unmade TMOs.
Non map based TMO’s and map based TMO’s pre 12 June 2025 can be viewed
