School Streets
Find more information about our School Streets, which prioritise pedestrians and cyclists on roads outside schools at school start and finish times.
Permanent School Streets
All our school streets are in operation Monday - Friday as restricted pedestrian and cycle only zone, during the times detailed below, school term times only,
Latchmere Primary School and St Agatha’s Catholic Primary School (Latchmere Road and Dinton Road) SS1
The Latchmere Road and Dinton Road School Street between 08.15-09.30am and 2.30-4.00pm during school term times only.

Alexandra Primary School (Princes Road) SS2
The Princes Road School Street operates between 08.15-09.30am and 2.30-3.45pm. This scheme runs the full length of Princes Road, continuing on Arthur Road and Borough Road.
If you live on the 'Farthings Estate’ please only register if you use the car park/garages accessed from Borough Road. If you live on any of these roads, you are exempt from the restrictions but MUST register your vehicle Princes Road, Authur Road Borough Road inc garages exemption form
St Paul’s CofE Primary School (Alexandra Road) SS3
The Alexandra Road School Street operates between 08.15-09.30am and 2.30-3.45pm.
This scheme covers the full length of Alexandra Road, covering residents of Rosewood Court and Cherrywood Close. If you live on any of these three roads, you are exempt from the restrictions but must register your vehicle

Castle Hill Primary School (Buckland Road) SS4
The Buckland Road School Street operates between 08.00-09.00am and 2.30-3.30pm.

The School Streets trial for this area operates between 8.00am-9.00am and 3.00pm-4.00pm
St John's Primary School (Portland Road) SS6
The school street on Portland Road operates 8.30-9.30am and 2.45-3.45pm
Lovelace Primary School (Mansfield Road) SS7
The School Streets scheme on Mansfield Road operates between 8.15am-9.15am and 2.30pm-3.30pm
Lovelace Primary School (Devon Way) SS10
The scheme area includes Devon Way, Beverley Close, Newlands Way and part of Stormont Way (up to the road closure) and operates 8.15am - 9.15am and 2.30pm - 3.30pm.

St Philips School (including Harrow Close & Chessington Hall Gardens)
There is a timed restriction on motor vehicles entering Harrow Close to create the pedestrian and cycle zones from Monday to Friday, between 8.15am - 9.15am and 2.30pm - 3.30pm, school term time only. If you live on Harrow Close or Chessington Hall Gardens you are exempt from the restrictions but must register your vehicle

Ellingham Primary School
The School Street trial at Ellingham Primary School (SS12) includes part of Ellingham Road, from the school to the junction with Bolton Road. There are timed restrictions on motor vehicles to create the pedestrian and cycle zones from Monday to Friday, between 8.15am - 9.15am and 2.30pm - 3.30pm, school term time only. If you live within the School Streets zone you are exempt from the restrictions but must register your vehicle
