A licence is required to place a skip on a public road or highway.

When you need a licence

You need a licence to put a builder's skip on any part of the public highway. We only issue licences to skip companies.

You do not need a licence if you want to put a skip on private property.

Cost of licence

28 day skip licence: £149.01 per skip.

Renewal of skip licence (28 days): £149.01 per skip.

There is no limit on the number of times you can renew your licence.
