The Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) sets out how the council will engage with local communities and other interested parties in Local Plan production and when consulting on planning applications.
The Place Committee approved a revised Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) for adoption on 24 September 2024. This updated SCI replaces the previous version and includes minor amendments related to the Development Management process. Additionally, the revised SCI includes a formal requirement to engage with women and girls as part of public consultations.
