To help the cultural sector keep up to date with funding news and resources, the Mayor of London’s Culture at Risk team has compiled a list of sector-specific information, advice and support schemes across the night-time economy and creative industries network. They are also inviting individuals and organisations who work in the creative sector to register with them, so that they can provide the right type of support in this fast-moving situation. Neighbourhood grants of up to £3000 per application are able to fund arts projects and activities that engage and benefit the community in each of the four neighbourhood areas. Projects should contribute to one or more of the Council’s strategic priorities. Applications will be considered at the relevant Neighbourhood Committee Meetings. Arts Council England has published two new reports outlining the benefits culture has on the high street. A data report is available, looking at the impact cultural venues have on the high street while the second report evidences culture's role in stabilising and revitalising the high street.
