If you submit a request for an assessment, a member of the KCN carer’s assessment team will contact you to arrange an appointment for a carer’s assessment. The assessment can take place face-to-face or over the phone, depending on your preference and circumstances.

This is your chance to speak openly about the impact of your caring role. Your honest feedback is important to make sure you receive the support you need.
Due to the high demand for support, there is approximately an 8 to 12 week wait for carer’s assessments.
You don’t have to have an assessment to get help from Kingston Carers Network. Contact them to get advice about the wide range of support, advice and guidance about caring they provide.
Once your assessment is complete, KCN will send you a letter detailing your eligible support and invite you to discuss what support you need to care for someone.
Contact Kingston Carers’ Network to request an assessment.
The quickest and easiest way to submit your request for assessment is online using KCN’s referral form.
If you prefer to speak to someone, you can call to discuss an assessment with a member of the team at KCN.
