Running a food business
Register your food business, find out about the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme (FHRS) and food hygiene inspections, request a food hygiene re-rating, and find advice and support.
Report a food safety or hygiene issue
If you have concerns about a food business (pub, restaurant, cafe, shop etc) within the borough, you can tell us about it.
This may include:
- a complaint about food hygiene
- a complaint about food you have purchased
- an incident of alleged food poisoning

You can also contact us at food.safety@kingston.gov.uk or call the contact centre on 0208 547 5002 to report any relevant food or workplace health and safety matter to us.
We can only deal with concerns about a food businesses that are within the borough.
If the food business is outside of the borough, or you do not know which borough the food business is within, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) website can help you find the local authority to contact.
